Here are three things I am enjoying this week . . .
- Wabi Sabi by Mark Reibstein – buy Wabi Sabi on Amazon – My daughter loves this book. “Wabi Sabi, a little cat in Kyoto, Japan, had never thought much about her name until friends visiting from another land asked her owner what is meant. At last, the master/ Says, “That’s hard to explain.” And/ That is all she says. This unsatisfying answer sets Wabi Sabi on a journey to uncover the meaning of her name, and on the way discovers what wabi sabi is: a Japanese philosophy of seeing beauty in simplicity, the ordinary, and the imperfect.”
- BioTrust Low Carb – click here – This is a low-carb protein powder. I take 30 grams within thirty minutes of waking up. I’m terrible about regularly eating in the morning and this helps act as a meal replacement, although I sometimes eat breakfast in addition to the protein shake. It’s filling, easy to mix, and actually tastes good. Try the Cafe Mocha.
- Slim Leather Wallet by abrAsus – click here – I hate having bulk in my pockets. This wallet features a unique Japanese design and was named an “Editor’s Pick” by Wired Magazine. Outside of Japan, you can only find it in the Evernote Market.
I spend a lot of time thinking about the items or tools in my life and only recommend the ones that work best.
